Marketing Manager</strong> to lead the company's sales growth, customer relationships and marketing activities.</p><p>The position is responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing existing customer accounts, implementing sales and marketing strategies, and increasing awareness of the Farmer and Son brand within the fresh-produce industry.</p><p>The successful applicant will work closely with the owners and Operations Manager to develop and implement commercial strategies that support the continued growth of the business.</p><h2>Key Performance Areas</h2><p>Performance in the position will be measured against agreed business objectives, including:</p><ul><li>New customer acquisition.</li><li>Sales revenue growth.</li><li>Development of existing customer accounts.</li><li>Customer retention and satisfaction.</li><li>Development of new sales channels and markets.</li><li>Marketing engagement and brand development.</li><li>Achievement of agreed sales and business-development targets.</li></ul><h2>Working Relationships</h2><p>The Sales &amp; Experience</h2><p>The successful applicant will have:</p><ul><li>At least 12 months relevant experience in sales, marketing, business development or account management.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain business relationships.</li><li>Experience identifying and converting new business opportunities.</li><li>Strong negotiation and presentation skills.</li><li>Experience developing and implementing sales or marketing strategies.</li><li>Understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms.</li><li>Strong organisational and time-management skills.</li><li>Degree level qualification.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.</li><li>Commercial awareness and an understanding of sales performance and business development.</li><li>A proactive and results-focused approach.</li><li>Experience within the fresh-produce, food, hospitality, retail or wholesale industries would be highly regarded.</li></ul>

<p>Reporting to the The Hills of Rivermakers Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the retail operations, sales performance, stock control and staff management across our three retail outlets, ensuring each site is run efficiently, profitably, and delivers a consistently great customer experience.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><br><h3>Benefits</h3><p>$75,000 - $85,000 per annum plus Superannuation</p><br><h3>Task & responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Plan, organise and oversee the daily retail operations of the fish &amp; chip kiosk, pizzeria and gelato shop.</li><li>Manage stock ordering, storage, wastage and display across all three outlets, and negotiate with suppliers.</li><li>Monitor sales performance and trading trends, and manage budgets and costs for each outlet.</li><li>Plan and run promotional and seasonal sales activities across the precinct's peak trading periods.</li><li>Recruit, roster, train and supervise retail and food service staff across the three sites.</li><li>Set and maintain customer service, presentation and food handling standards, and manage staff performance.</li><li>Ensure each outlet complies with food safety, WHS and consumer protection requirements.</li><li>Handle escalated customer queries and complaints, and drive continuous service improvement.</li></ul><br><h3>Qualification & experience</h3><ul><li>A level of skill commensurate with an AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma together with at least one year of relevant experience or at least three years of relevant experience in lieu of qualifications.</li><li>Proven experience managing multi-site or multi-outlet retail or food retail operations.</li><li>Strong stock control, supplier negotiation and budgeting skills.</li><li>Solid understanding of food safety and WHS requirements in a food retail setting.</li><li>Strong leadership skills, with experience rostering and supervising retail or hospitality teams.</li><li>Experience managing takeaway or quick-service food retail outlets is highly regarded.</li></ul>
