The role involves developing individual treatment plans, delivering therapy, monitoring progress and working collaboratively with clients, families and other health and support professionals. <h3>Benefits</h3>Competitive salary plus superannuation.Full-time, ongoing employment with job security.Supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team.Regular professional supervision and mentoring.Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.Diverse and meaningful client work.Opportunity to contribute to treatment planning and service improvement.Supportive workplace committed to employee wellbeing and work–life balance. <h3>Task & responsibilities</h3>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ emotional, behavioural and psychological needs.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Identify mental and emotional disorders and determine appropriate psychotherapeutic interventions.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Develop, implement and regularly review individualised treatment and support plans.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide individual, family or group psychotherapy using appropriate methods, including behavioural, cognitive, interpersonal, relaxation and other recognised therapeutic approaches.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Assist clients to understand and manage trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, behavioural concerns and other emotional challenges.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Monitor treatment outcomes and modify therapeutic strategies according to clients’ progress and changing needs.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide crisis support, risk assessments and appropriate referrals where clients require specialist or urgent intervention.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Collaborate with medical practitioners, psychologists, counsellors, social workers, support coordinators and other professionals involved in client care.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Maintain accurate, confidential and timely case notes, assessments, treatment plans and progress reports.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Comply with privacy, safeguarding, mandatory reporting, work health and safety and professional practice requirements.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Participate in case conferences, professional supervision, training and service-quality improvement activities. <h3>Qualification & experience</h3>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;A relevant bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in psychotherapy, counselling, psychology, mental health or a closely related discipline.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;At least two years of relevant professional experience providing psychotherapy or comparable therapeutic services.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Demonstrated ability to assess clients and develop and deliver evidence-based treatment plans.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Sound knowledge of trauma-informed, person-centred and culturally responsive practice.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Strong communication, counselling, documentation and interpersonal skills.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Current National Police Check and Working with Children Check, or the ability to obtain them.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;NDIS Worker Screening Check where required.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Eligibility for professional membership with PACFA, ACA or another relevant professional association is highly regarded.&nbsp;
