The Contract Administrator will be embedded within our project delivery team at our Parramatta office, working with the senior Contracts Administrator in taking ownership of the contractual framework underpinning our residential construction projects from early works through to practical completion and the defects liability period.The successful applicant will draft, review and administer head contracts and trade subcontract packages, ensuring that all agreements accurately reflect the commercial intent of each project. The role requires the ongoing management of contract correspondence, site instructions, notices and formal communications issued under the relevant contract mechanisms. A minimum of two years' experience working as a Contract Administrator within the building and construction industry is essential. Candidates must be able to demonstrate hands-on experience administering construction contracts from project award through to final account and close-out.A strong working knowledge of Australian standard forms of contract and commercial management principles within a construction context is required. The successful candidate will have proven experience in the administration of contract variations, progress payment claims, procurement processes and subcontract management. Excellent negotiation, written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills are essential, together with strong attention to detail and the capacity to manage competing priorities across multiple active projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and construction-specific project management or contract administration software is required.
